Week 6: Aperture

Manual Mode, ISO 100, 35mm, f/5.3, 1/320

Manual Mode, ISO 200, 44mm, f/5.6, 1/200

{Next Weeks Theme: Party}

  1. I love the asymmetry of your photo! Only thing I may change {and not even convinced I would} would be the heart. maybe crop the photo so the heart is a little more centered, or farther from the center.

    for my photo, i wish i would have gotten a little more of the grass in the foreground of the shot.

  2. Thanks, Jenny! I also think the sky and field in my photo are a little blown out and the rich blue of the sky is missing. I couldn't figure out how to fix it while shooting in-camera, and I clearly need more advanced editing software so that I could isolate those areas to improve their color & saturation for a more compelling image overall.

    I love your shot of sweet Rhea! I had a hard time coming up with any improvements, other than *maybe* lightening up some of the shadows? Beautiful bokeh, well-composed, and a great example of aperture!
